Army accepts any 10+2 stream, but Air Force / Navy / Naval Academy need Physics and Mathematics at 10+2 level.
NDA 2026 typically requires age between about 16.5 and 19.5 years, with exact DOB ranges given separately for NDA 1 and NDA 2 and no age relaxation.
For NDA Army, you need 10+2 passed or appearing in any stream; for Air Force, Navy and NA, 10+2 with PCM is required.
Both unmarried male and female candidates can apply for NDA & NA, subject to other eligibility conditions.
NDA has strict physical and medical standards (height, weight, vision, etc.) and a detailed medical examination after SSB.
