Estimate Your ALP & Technician Attempts Window
ALP and Technician notifications do not fix a maximum number of attempts; you may apply repeatedly while you remain within age and other eligibility conditions.
Category relaxations extend your age window, effectively increasing how many ALP/Technician cycles you can attempt.
For UR/EWS, ALP and Technician Grade III generally use an 18–30 years band, and Technician Grade I uses an 18–33 years band; relaxations raise the maximum ages by category.
This helps estimate how many additional notification cycles you might practically get, since exams are not held every year.
Disclaimer: This ALP & Technician attempts helper is an explanatory tool showing that there is no official cap on attempts; only age, qualification and medical/other eligibility conditions restrict how many times you can apply. It uses a simple age‑window model and does not replace exact age cut‑off dates, relaxations or RRB‑specific rules in notifications. Always rely on the latest ALP and Technician notifications from your Railway Recruitment Board for final decisions.
