Online Application & Registration

  • Scanned Photograph

  • Scanned Signature

CBT 1 & CBT 2 Exam Days

  • RRB NTPC Admit Card (CBT 1 / CBT 2)

    A4 print of e-call letter for respective CBT
    MANDATORY
    Shows exam city, date, shift and reporting time; must be produced for entry to the exam centre.

  • Original Photo ID

    Aadhaar / Voter ID / PAN / Passport / DL etc.

Typing / Skill Test (Relevant Posts)

  • Skill / Typing Test Call Letter

    Printout of RRB NTPC Skill/Typing Test e-call letter

    Specifies date, shift and venue for typing test or Computer Based Aptitude/Skill Test where applicable.

  • Original Photo ID

    Same ID produced at CBTs

Document Verification (DV)

  • Matriculation (Class 10) Certificate & Marksheet

    Originals + at least two self-attested photocopies

    Final proof of date of birth and name; all other certificates and records must be consistent with this.

  • Class 12 / Intermediate Certificate & Marksheet

    Original + photocopies (mandatory for UG posts and some Graduate posts)
    Confirms eligibility for 10+2 level posts and supports academic history for Graduate posts where needed.

  • Graduation Degree & All Mark Sheets (For Graduate Posts)

    Original bachelor’s degree and all semester/year mark sheets + photocopies
    MANDATORY
    Primary proof of graduation for Graduate level NTPC posts; subject/percentage checked against notification criteria.

  • SC / ST / OBC-NCL Category Certificate

    Original caste certificate in central format + photocopies
    Required for reservation and relaxation; for OBC, non-creamy layer status and validity period are checked carefully.

  • EWS Income & Asset Certificate

    Original EWS certificate + photocopies
    Mandatory for EWS claim; must be issued in current/valid financial year by competent authority in prescribed format.

  • PwBD / Disability Certificate (If Applicable)

    Original benchmark disability certificate + photocopies
    Confirms type and percentage of disability for PwBD reservation and post-suitability under NTPC recruitment rules.

  • Ex-Servicemen / Defence Service Certificates (If Applicable)

    Discharge certificate, PPO, service certificate, etc.

  • Domicile / Residence Certificate (If Required)

    Original domicile certificate + photocopies

Medical Examination

  • Medical Exam e-Call Letter

    Issued by RRB/railway hospital after DV

    Contains date, time and hospital details for NTPC medical examination based on post-specific standards.

  • Original Photo ID & DV Proof

    Same ID as before + DV acknowledgement slip
    MANDATORY
    Medical board uses these to ensure that the DV-cleared candidate is appearing for medical tests.
